Take action today to end cosmetics testing on
animals...forever!
The Humane Cosmetics Act, legislation that would end—once and for all—cruel
and archaic animal testing for cosmetics in the United States, has been
re-introduced in Congress.
Rep.
Martha McSally (R-AZ) is sponsoring this long-overdue and much-welcomed
legislation, which would require private and governmental entities in the U.S. to
stop using animals to test for the safety of cosmetics.
The bill would also prohibit the sale in the U.S. of all cosmetics that were developed or manufactured using animals for
testing.
A bi-partisan group of more than 25 other Representatives has already signed on
as co-sponsors—but many more are needed to move this bill forward!
Please contact your U.S. Representative
and ask that they co-sponsor the Humane Cosmetics Act.
TAKE ACTION »
It’s time for the U.S. to finally join the community of countries that have
successfully ended the unnecessary practice of cosmetics testing on animals.
Please share this
email with friends and family members. The more voices we have speaking out in
favor of this humane legislation, the better our chances of finally seeing it
get passed.
Thank you!
